RGKap - $15

This is RGKreations' signature hat.  There's nothing quite like a small and slightly leaning peak ;)  Not to mention that this hat is unisex - usually I would make the brim a bit larger and longer for a more masculine look - but even with a small peak and the right color yarn,  it can be a man hat too.  It can be made with or without the decorative band (the row of holes in this sample). 

Floppy Beret - $20

This oversized beret will accomodate the longest of locks, but will also look great if you want to let your hair down.  It is a delicate looking and airy hat, with decorative stitches used to give it texture and flow.  Up to three colors can be used to customize this hat.

Plummy - $10

These are the cutest little puff balls ever!!  Plus you can wear them on your ears!!  They're made with a puffstitch so they have a really fun texture, and are hollow inside, so won't weigh you down (or clobber you in the jaw when you turn your head!!).  Variegated yarn can be used to get a multicolor look like these ones, or up to 3 colors can be chosen (1 on top, 1 in the middle band and one for the bottom).

Q-Tooq (aka Cute Tuque) - $15

This is a fitted hat with a decorative trim.  It's made with a puff stitch, to give it a really fun texture.  Plus it'll keep your head warm during the cold winter months!

Variegated yarn was used in this sample, but for any custom order, two colors can be selected - one for the bulk of the hat, and one for the trim.

Introducing - The Fall Looks!!

First off, I must say that I am thrilled with the feedback I've received on these three looks.
It's one thing to stand back and look at your own work and feel proud of what you've accomplished - but it's all in vain until others compliment your work as well :o) 

It's nice to know that the designs I've got floating in my head translate well into yarn.

Two of the pieces in these looks have already been posted - The Floppy Loops and The Roundabout.  The other four pieces will be featured in upcoming posts.

Look # 1:

This look consists of the Plummy earring and the Q-Tooq in Ginseng Ombre yarn.


Look # 2:

This look consists of the Roundabout earring and the Floppy Beret in Luxury Ombre yarn.


Look # 3:

This look consists of the Floppy Loop earring and the RGKap - my signature style hat, in Southwest Ombre yarn.

Tri-Fold Card - $3

This card is very sturdy - with each panel having a double layer of cardstock.

The two side flaps overlap each other and the sentiment is raised (3D)

ROUNDABOUT - $20

This earring is customizable in several ways.


First there is the color scheme.  As with the Floppy Loops, I've used variegated yarn in this sample, which creates the patches of colors.  For the same patchy effect, I am limited to the variegated yarns that are available on the market.  However, solid colors can be used.  Each of the 3 tiers can be a different color, or the inner ring can be different from the middle and the outer rings (the top two rings only have two rounds - the bottom one has three).






Other than the color customization, you can mix and match each of the tiers.  So if you'd like to have three consecutive pinwheels (the bottom tier in this example), you may do so.  Very unique looks can be achieved this way!!!  I can't wait to see how these will look - just the way YOU want them to!! 




This sample is actually a pretty long earring - 7 inches long to be precise.  So if you would like a shorter version, with only one or two tiers, the price will be different.  Take 3 dollars off for every tier you remove.  How's THAT for a deal!!?

Floppy Loops - $15

This is the first pair of earrings I've crocheted with worsted weight yarn - I normally use embroidery floss for earrings, but I was inspired by other designs I've seen that were made of yarn, and decided to give it a try.


This pair of earrings was made with variegated yarn - that is what gives it the patchy/camouflage pattern from the colors.  If you have a specific color scheme request, I will do my best to find a variegated yarn that will match it, but I am limited by what is on the market.  Another way to create a pair using your color scheme is to use solid colors.  Each round can be made of a different color or shade.


By choosing your own color scheme, you are sure to have a UNIQUE pair of earrings, no matter how many Floppy Loops are walking around!!
